    President Jokowi Congratulates Prabowo Subianto on Quick Count Victory in 2024 Presidential Election

    1Berita News – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) congratulated presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, on his victory in the quick count results of the 2024 Presidential Election.

    Jokowi admitted to meeting Prabowo on Wednesday evening (14/2). In this presidential election, Prabowo is paired with Jokowi’s eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

    “Yes, congratulations, congratulations. We met, we met directly,” said Jokowi after opening the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at JI Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Thursday (15/2).

    Jokowi also revealed that four people attended the meeting, but he refused to disclose who they were.

    “Well, I don’t need to mention,” he said.

    On the other hand, Jokowi also stated that the quick count results are a scientific counting method that has been conducted several times in every democratic event.

    However, Jokowi still urged the public to wait for the official results from the General Election Commission (KPU).

    “The results of the quick count are a scientific counting method. But regardless, we have to wait for the official results from the KPU,” said Jokowi.

    The KPU has previously released the real count results of the 2024 Elections through its official website.

    Data as of Thursday (15/2) at 09.00 WIB with 41.01 percent of the votes counted, presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, leads compared to his two rivals.

    Prabowo-Gibran leads with 56.11 percent or 12,476,925 votes. Meanwhile, presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, is in second place with 24.55 percent or 5,459,425 votes.

    Meanwhile, the least position goes to presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, with 19.34 percent or 4,300,835 votes.

    These data are obtained from the vote counting results of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) at the Polling Stations (TPS).

    A number of survey institutions that are registered and verified by the KPU for quick count have also released data that is not much different, although the vote count is larger than the real count.

    For example, Charta Politika released the quick count results of the 2024 Presidential Election with a vote count of 98.40 percent as of today, Thursday (15/2) at 09.26 WIB.

    Prabowo-Gibran still leads significantly compared to the other two pairs. They received 57.79 percent of the votes.

    Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin received 25.70 percent of the votes, and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair received the least votes at 16.50 percent.
