1Berita News – President Joko Widodo inaugurated nine members of the Indonesian Attorney General’s Commission for the 2024-2028 term at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/21).

Among those inaugurated were Heffinur, M. Yusuf, Andi Nurwinah, Babul Khoir, Nurokhman, Pujiyono Suwadi, Diah Srikanto, Rita Serena Kalibonso, and Dahlena.

The inauguration of the Attorney General’s Commission is based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 17/M of 2024, which was read by Deputy for Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti.

After the content of the Presidential Decree was read, President Jokowi led the swearing-in ceremony, which was attended by all members of the Attorney General’s Commission.

“I swear by Allah, that I will be faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945 and will uphold all laws and regulations to the best of my ability for the sake of my service to the nation and state,” said Jokowi, followed by all members of the Attorney General’s Commission.

“That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the highest ethical standards, work to the best of my ability, and take full responsibility,” they added collectively.

The inauguration took place after Jokowi swore in two ministers, namely Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Minister of Politics, Law, and Security (Menko Polhukam) Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
