1Berita News – Deputy Commander of the Alpha TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Fritz Siregar, revealed several potential allegations of fraud in Malaysia during the 2024 Elections.
Firstly, Fritz mentioned that there are suspicions that more than 90 percent of the people on the Permanent Voter List (DPT) in Malaysia are no longer residing there.
“More than 90 percent of voter data in Malaysia no longer corresponds to individuals residing in Malaysia. This means that 90 percent of the data no longer represents those listed on the Permanent Voter List in Malaysia,” said Fritz during a press conference at Sriwijaya 16, South Jakarta, on Thursday (1/2).
He conveyed this while showing a video recording containing this information. Fritz stated that the video has been circulating on social media recently.
Fritz explained that out of the total DPT outside Indonesia, Malaysia contributed approximately 800 thousand voters in the 2024 Elections.
“In total, it’s almost around 800 thousand. Out of 1.8 million voters outside Indonesia, 800 thousand are in Malaysia,” he explained.
Furthermore, Fritz also mentioned attempts to steal ballot papers by the Kuala Lumpur overseas election committee (PPLN).
According to Fritz, this suspicion arose from the discovery of 3,000 ballot papers sent by mail to one address located 800 meters away from one of the Kuala Lumpur PPLN offices.
Additionally, Fritz admitted that the Malaysian police also received reports from the Malaysian postal company regarding attempts at bribery by the PPLN towards postal workers.
“So that 7,000 ballot papers do not need to be sent through the mail,” he said.
Based on these allegations, Fritz mentioned the potential for election fraud caused by the unprofessional conduct of the Malaysian PPLN.
Fritz urged the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) and the General Election Commission (KPU) to proactively investigate these allegations of fraud in Malaysia.
He stated that if indeed there have been several allegations of fraud, then it would violate Article 489 of Law No. 17 of 2017 concerning Elections.
“Which states that any member of the Election Organizing Committee (PPS) or overseas election committee (PPLN) who deliberately fails to announce and/or correct the temporary voter list after receiving input from the community and/or election participants,” he said.
