1Berita News, East Java – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) conducted a working visit to East Java on Friday (8/3). Jokowi was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto.
Both wore the same attire, long-sleeved white shirts and black trousers.
Jokowi and his entourage took off around 07:30 AM from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta.
“Accompanying the President on the flight to East Java Province are Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, Presidential Military Secretary Major General TNI Rudi Saladin, and Commander of the Presidential Security Detail Major General TNI Achiruddin,” said the Presidential Secretariat Press Bureau.
Several officials bid farewell to Jokowi’s departure, including Pangdam Jaya Major General Mohamad Hasan, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto, Pangkoopsud I Air Marshal Mohammad Nurdin, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Air Marshal Destianto Nugroho Utomo.
Today, Jokowi is reported to be visiting Madiun Regency, East Java, to inaugurate the implementation of the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) for the development of the Dungus-Batas Kota road infrastructure segment in Madiun Regency.
After Madiun Regency, Jokowi is also scheduled to visit Karanganyar Regency, Central Java.
