    Train Collision in Cicalengka, Bandung

    1Berita – Train accident occurred in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency, on Friday (5/1) morning. The accident involved two trains.

    Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 2 Bandung, Ayep Hanepi, stated that the two trains involved in the accident were Turangga Train and the local Bandung Raya Train. The accident happened on the track between Cicalengka Station and Haurpugur at 06:53 AM.

    “The incident occurred at 06:03 AM on the track between Cicalengka and Haurpugur, involving Turangga Train and the Local Train,” Ayep said as quoted by detikcom.

    Ayep mentioned that they could not confirm the number of casualties in this accident yet. He stated that a team from KAI is on its way to the location. “No data yet, I’m on my way to the location,” he said.

    In a post on the X account @cuancoin21, it was mentioned that Turangga Train collided with KRD.

    “BREAKING NEWS: a collision has occurred. Turangga train collided with KRD at Babakan station in Cicalengka at 6 AM. We apologize for the disruption to the journey of the Bandung Raya train (KRD),” as stated in the caption of the post.
